The Twenty-Fifth Sunday after Pentecost
Rev. John thanks you for opening up your Bible and reading the passage from the Gospel of Mark 12: 38-44. Think about the poor widow’s generosity as she placed her two small copper coins in the treasury. We are reminded that she contributed not out of abundance but out of her poverty. What does this say about our role in strengthening the life of the church and in proclaiming the Gospel through our actions.

If you would like to help in the kitchen, please contact Mary Jane Hunter (519) 7373. Mary Jane is in need of muffins, cookies and people to manage the kitchen during these times. Some extra hands are needed on Saturday, November 9th at 4:00 pm to make and bag sandwiches. If you would like to stand on guard, please contact the office at (519) 352-1640.
