It is Palm Sunday, and we are preparing to journey into Jerusalem alongside the multitude singing “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the lord.”
Reverend John strongly encourages you to read the Gospel passage from Luke 19: 28-40. What did Jesus mean when he said “If these were silent, the stones would shout out.”
To view other readings for this week and the entire year, please use this link to the common lectionary. https://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu/
The Hymns for this Sunday are as follows: If possible look them up on Google or Youtube and listen to them.
Processional Hymn: Hosanna, Loud Hosanna

The Giving Tree
For the month of April, for Easter, the Giving Tree invites you to take a paper clipped to the tree and write down or draw a symbol of a burden currently weighing on your heart. Then lay that worry on the cross or in the case the tree. Is there something you would like a special prayer to help you through or a special wish you have for yourself or others? Draw it or write it down with no names and we will have Rev. John pray over all of the items heavy on your heart. Last year we did this and some people reported having powerful answers to their prayers. Thank you. Joy Kemble
